Martha Bil Manevich
- (IAWA Collection Ms2013-059)

Martha Bil Manevich graduated with a Master of Architecture in 1964 from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. After graduation, she emigrated to the United States and worked with Ritchie Associates, Inc., first as a Project Architect and Designer (1964–1975), and later as Vice President and Project Director (1976–1986), specializing in health care facilities and related projects. In 1987, Manevich founded her own consulting firm, Planning Options, where, in her new role as a client representative, she focused on improving health care environments through better design and the creative use of resources. At the same time, she attended graduate school and earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Health Care Management from Boston University’s Graduate School of Management in 1989.
In advocating for Manevich’s advancement to Fellowship in the American Institute of Architects, Thomas M. Payette, FAIA, writes: “Her extraordinary efforts have made major strides in advancing clients' knowledge and understanding of architects and their contributions to the built environment.”
In addition to practicing and consulting, Manevich taught at the Boston Architectural Center in the fifth-year studio (Health Care) and lectured at Boston University’s Graduate School of Management, Northeastern University’s Allied Health Program, Clemson University’s College of Architecture, and the Rhode Island School of Design.
